What to Expect at the Fall Showcase
Starting the week of September 8, the Airdrie Stars will host a High-Performance Fall Baseball Showcase designed for young athletes eager to learn, demonstrate their skills and experience a professional-style evaluation.
The Fall showcase will build a foundation of offseason skill development while incorporating regular skill check-ins. Accompanied by skill work, hosted by Stars skills coaches, participants will take part in a series of evaluations designed to mirror the structure of professional and collegiate tryouts. The showcase will feature:
- Agility Drills - Testing speed, footwork, and overall athleticism
- 60-Yard Dash - Measuring straight-line speed, a key scouting metric
- Defensive Evaluations - Assessing footwork, arm strength and accuracy from both the infield and outfield
- Pitching Bullpen - Showcasing pitching mechanics, velocity, and control
- Batting Practice - Evaluating hitting mechanics, bat-to-ball skills, and power
- Intersquad Game - Offering a live game setting to highlight instincts, decision-making, and competitive skills
Outstanding participants will be invited to join our winter baseball training programs, building toward our 2026 tryouts.
